President Jokowi Launches Nusantara Logistic Hub to Boost Supply Chain Efficiency

President Joko Widodo Marks Milestone with Inauguration of Nusantara Logistic Hub in Capital City (IKN), East Kalimantan

In a groundbreaking event on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, President Joko Widodo personally laid the foundation for the Nusantara Logistic Hub in the Nusantara Capital (IKN), East Kalimantan. Stressing the crucial role of logistics services in IKN, President Jokowi warmly welcomed the collaborative effort between Pos Indonesia and PT Bina Karya Persero, resulting in the establishment of the Nusantara Logistic Hub.

“I officially launch the Nusantara Logistic Hub by Pos Indonesia in the Nusantara Capital today, invoking bismillahirrahmanirrahim,” stated President Jokowi.

The Logistic Hub, as highlighted by the President, will play a pivotal role in supporting IKN as a super hub. Its presence becomes essential due to the increasing intensity of activities and the rising movement of people and goods within IKN.

“Especially with the preparation for the operationalization of various businesses and offices in IKN, particularly those moving to and from IKN,” added Jokowi.

The President expressed hope that the Nusantara Logistic Hub will significantly contribute to strengthening the domestic supply chain across Indonesia, not only within IKN but also throughout the entire nation. This, in turn, is expected to make logistics costs more affordable and expedite the movement of logistics across Indonesia.

“Inaugurating the Nusantara Logistic Hub is a significant step towards enhancing logistics efficiency, not only in IKN but also across the entire Indonesian region,” emphasized President Joko Widodo during the ceremony.
